In the winter months the road is closed. So please keep in mind my location is quite rural, and the weather in this area is very unpredictable, and harsh in the winter months. Many of the roads involve traveling up and down tremendously steep roads, and mountain notches to reach our destination. The roads are more-so than not, unlit, unmarked, unpaved, and many at best, are privately maintained, if at all. Mobile service is quite limited also. South of the White Mountain region, is the Lakes Region, where we encounter extremely icy driving conditions in the winter months. In many cases these roads are also unlit, unmarked, and unpaved. For obvious safety reasons, all of the above could cause last minute cancellations, but with close communication, the loan closing process could be completed with some adjustments in signing location, or time of the signing, whatever is necessary and accommodating to the borrower.
