Currently, I am an Notary Signing Agent (through National Notary Association Training Course). I also have my Arizona Realtor License.
I have been retired from the Federal Government for 5 years. In the past, I was a notary in California as part of my responsibilites working for Courtesy Escrow in Palm Springs, CA. In that capacity, I was responsible for conducting purchaser and seller signings. I was also responsible for preparing many of the documents for used in closings. The majority of my career was in the financial services field. I worked for a major trust company and for a major mutual fund company both based in Denver, CO. In both capacities, I dealt with the transfer of assets which again resulted in many legal documents which required either notarization or signature guarantee.
I was born in Princeton, Illinois. Princeton is a small town in a rural part of Illinois. I attended college in Colorado (University of Colorado, University of Northern Colorado and Regis College). I spent my entire working career in Colorado, primarily in Denver. When I retired I moved to Tucson, AZ. The reason for moving was primarily that the cost of living in Denver had become unfeasible for retirement. I also was ready to escape the snow. I have enjoyed all the volunteer opportunities available in Tucson. I am an avid cyclist. Tucson is one of the highest ranked cities for bicycling in the U.S. I am married with no children unless you count our two dogs.
