I am a freelance paralegal with over 25 years experience as a Notary Public working in the legal community of Western New York. I have conducted hundreds of real estate closings, thousands of notary signings and have experience in family law, estate probate and estate planning, debt collection and civil litigation. I am well versed in a wide variety of legal areas, and I would love to put my experience to work for you and your clients.
Personal Bio
I am a married mother of teen twins who keep me and my husband on our toes every day, especially as they enter high school in these days of change and conflict. The legal field has been my career path since graduating high school early to attend college at 17 years old, and after obtaining a legal business degree at 19, I worked in downtown Buffalo law firms in many different roles that gave me a wide range of experience in both office management and legal work. I went on to attended college for a paralegal degree, as a single mother working part time in suburban law offices; after 13 years experience, I created my own freelance business and enjoyed working mainly from my home office, while also obtaining a realtor's license and working as a realtor. Real estate has been my niche; I continue to enjoy helping others navigate through complicated real estate matters, and my past experience in fields of family law, estate probate, estate planning, civil litigation, and collections, combined with residential real estate title matters and transfers, gives me a multi-faceted perspective with which to aid attorneys and clients in a range of legal matters.
