My professional background includes 10+ years of customer service which includes staff management, administrative skills, office management, credit and pre-purchase counseling, community outreach and financial wellness consulting. I am a Notary Public in Florida; currently, I am working as a Housing Adviser at Debt Management Credit Counseling Corp, where my responsibilities include providing pre-purchase education, credit and financial literacy and counseling services to program participants, meeting guidelines, performance standards, goals and requirements for program contracts and grants, administrative support, providing orientation for the housing program for attendees. By working with real estate documents, I am also a Notary Loan Signing Agent. Previously, I worked as a Housing Case Manager at Urban League of Broward County; also at Broward Alliance for Neighborhood Development (BAND) as an office manager, membership and marketing coordinator, customer service and staff supervisor positions, also as office assistant at Heron Bay, which allowed me to embrace strong client services skills by assisting potential home buyers with their inquiries. In addition to this experience, I gained considerable knowledge in the nonprofit industry and the different home ownership programs within the Housing Division. I also bring to the table advanced learning, organizational, communication, and leadership skills; as well as strong computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, WordPress, and multiple database applications.
