While I am a newly licensed Notary Public (2020), I spent several years in real estate, loan origination, and transaction coordination handling loan documentation. I opened West Seattle Island Notary to provide mobile notary services and loan signing appointments where I come to you so you don't need to put life/time/work on hold to get paperwork finished. I spent several years in real estate, loan origination, and transaction coordination handling loan documentation and really missed certain components a ton. But, I was on a different path - healthcare. When would I have time to maybe step back into that world? When covid hit I decided to leave healthcare. Having a kiddo at home I was afraid of getting sick them due to the nature of my hospital and clinical jobs (sterile services and OR exposure), I took a leap of faith while out of work and opened West Seattle Island Notary. When the bridge shut down between West Seattle and the City I found a way to be one. Helping people during a time where Covid shut down so much is the best part of my job. It's hard rethinking life directives and wills so suddenly. It's difficult considering selling your home and moving closer to family for help, or finding work, or taking extra precautions to get away from densely populated city life when we have this new, unexpected illness uproot so much. Change can be utterly overwhelming. Yet, there are bright spots available. I try to help be that bright spot. My job isn't just stamping things so you can do things - it's communication, it's helping come to decisions, it's asking for help, it's saying you can't leave the home and put anyone at risk just to finish a business deal or even to apply for a marriage licence and begin a new life. And it's okay. I want to help. My goal is to be of service to you. It starts out at first as a simple appointment, but my hope is it ends as relief getting so much stuff done with someone who wants to be there and help out. You deserve relief.
