I am an attorney with a small practice in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. I am admitted in Massachusetts and New York. I have been practicing real estate law since 1991 which includes working as a closing agent for a title company in New York and as an attorney with the New York State Attorney General's Real Property Bureau ("title company to the State of NY). In addition to real estate law, my practice includes estate planning, probate and family law. As such, I have drafted numerous estate plans, probated estates and assisted clients with custody and adoption matters, notarizing all of their documents.. In 1991, I graduated cum laude from Albany Law School in Albany, New York. Shortly thereafter, I was admitted to practice in New York State and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. In 1997, I was admitted to practice in Massachusetts and in April of 2009, to the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. After graduating from law school, I worked in private practice and for Sneeringer, Monahan, Provost & Redgrave Title Agency, Inc. before joining the New York State Division for Youth and the New York State Attorney General's Real Property Bureau as a Senior Attorney. After admission to the Massachusetts Bar, I returned to private practice and eventually started my own firm in June of 2006. Currently, I offer legal services in real estate, business transactions, estate planning, probate, family law, collections and general litigation.
Notary only closings are not allowed in MA so any closing would have to come via a law office. If you have other documents that need notarizing, please contact me and we can negotiate the fee. I DO NOT perform work for TRIP FEES only.
