I have worked as a Mortgage Loan Originator and I have purchased three homes and refinanced twice. Having sat on both sides of the transaction in my own experience, I am mindful of the stress involved and the tension leading up to closing. I have a dual tray laser printer and I know how to use it. I can scan, fax, secure email and follow directions. I know to ask for clarification when needed. I understand that many clients today prefer text and I am open and available all forms of communication. I am available for signings in St Johns, Clay, Duval and Flagler counties.
Personal Bio
I have been running a successful company since 2018 providing Medicaid Waiver based support for individuals with developmental disability. This involves a tremendous amount of paperwork. It has also involved purchasing two buildings, getting them through zoning, inspections, monthly audits, annual audits, annual third party audits, etc. I have a two inch binder of standards our documentation must meet for each audit. This work is rewarding in a very real sense but somewhat less so in a financial sense. My most recent home purchase was extremely stressful. We were leasing the building for five years and the landlords put it up for sale with no notice at the peak of the market. We provide care for 6 individuals in that facility and we had no good alternative but to buy the building at full price and with no time to prepare. As a business owner, the underwriting was complex and time consuming. I must admit I lost some sleep leading up to the closing. Once everything was finally clear to close, the mobile notary who came to my place of work to help me close the deal was fantastic. Based on our interaction that day I put the wheels in motion to pursue this line of work. It is my hope that with kindness, patience and professionalism, I can be there for others and support them through that key moment.
