Personal Bio
I moved to Florida 38 years ago, from the upper peninsula of Michigan where I grew up on a large dairy farm. I have milked more than one cow in my lifetime and admit that I could still call a few cows across a 40 acre field if the need arose. My career has always been in the service industry, helping others. I previously managed a branch mortgage company of 15 loan officers and multiple processors. I belong to a local Toastmasters group and periodically do public speaking on mortgage products and credit scoring. When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family, including 2 grandchildren and 2 adorable Jack Russells, who are addicted to frisbees, tennis balls and have endless energy. I also enjoy boating and the relaxation of Florida's waterways and nature. My local memberships include an American Legion, Better Living for Seniors Consortium (BLS), Sunshine City Kiwanis, American Legion Auxiliary, Business and Professional Women's Association and Toastmasters International through Real Talkers Toastmasters of Clearwater.
