I am an Administrative Support professional with a diverse employment background. I obtained my Notary Public certification in 2015 and a Notary Signing Agent certification in 2016. As a Mobile Notary and Signing Agent, I've learned to notarize all documents, from auto refinance loans, power of attorneys, property deeds, legal documents, and service invoices. It has been a great way to supplement my income and expand my customer service skills while helping people. A typical notary signing starts with accepting an assignment and scheduling to meet with the customer in a public space. When I get to the meeting, I greet the customer with my business card and disclose my role in their document signing. Next, I place the documents in front of the customer and watch them sign. Once completed, I thank the customer for their time and notify my point of contact that the signing is complete. I send the documents according to the client's return method and notify my point of contact that the papers are en route to the client. Easy, peasy, done. Personal Bio
LaTaysha (pronounced LaTasha) is the eldest of 6 children and was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She attended high school at the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts as vocal arts and visual arts major. After graduation, she began her college education at Grossmont College as a pre-Law major, intending to become an attorney. While completing her education, she felt the call to duty and enlisted in the US Army. She served as a Petroleum Supply Specialist during her active duty service and as a Legal Specialist in the US Army Reserves. After her tour of duty, LaTaysha moved back to San Diego to raise her daughter and stay close to her family. She began her long career in Administrative Support with several finance companies before landing her dream job with a media company. It was there that she became a Notary and began fine-tuning her skills. In addition to notarizing documents for the company, she became a mobile notary and started a part-time side business notarizing loan documents. After six years in media, LaTaysha moved on and is now a Paralegal and a part-time Notary and Notary Signing Agent. In LaTaysha's spare time, she enjoys spending time with her mother and now-grown college graduate daughter. She also enjoys connecting with her siblings, watching movies, reading, hanging out with her dog, traveling with her friends, and enjoying life in San Diego, California.
