I am a dedicated Notary Signing Agent with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to a diverse clientele, including lenders, realtors, escrow/title companies, and signing service agencies. My proficiency is underscored by my outstanding performance with NSA training. I am certified by the National Notary Association and I have passed their background check. Furthermore, I am certified by NSA Blueprint taught by the esteemed Jon Snedeker in Florida. I proudly maintain my membership with the NNA and eagerly anticipate their enriching continuing education programs. Staying abreast of current events is facilitated through the insightful editorials published in the highly regarded Notary Bulletin. My capabilities are further amplified by a digital certificate I procured from IndenTrust which allows me to offer eNotary and Remote Online Notary (RON) services across a number of platforms from which my clients or their customers may so choose including, but not limited to, DocuSign. I am also now providing IPEN services through EscrowTab for tech-savvy people who prefer to reduce the amount of paper needed for closings. My commitment to convenience endures as I continue to provide mobile services offering in-person document signings at customers’ homes or other locations of choice within Maricopa County, Arizona, and some of the outlying areas. Additionally, I carry $100,000 of E&O insurance as well as the required $5,000 notary bond. With over 30 years of Notary Public experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge to every transaction. Combining my comprehensive notarial expertise with specialized Notary Signing Agent training, I am well-equipped to address the unique challenges that may arise during loan closings or any document signing assignment. I have also added fingerprinting to the services that I provide. After receiving my NSA certifications, I decided to start a business which is called Notary Signing Solutions, LLC. I applied for a Trademark Certification on my logo and a Tradename Certification with the AZ Corporation Commission, and I successfully received both of my Certifications on July 14, 2023. My business website went live in the middle of July, and you can review it at www.NotarySigningSolutions.net. Feel free to leave a comment when you visit. Prior to my time as a Notary Signing Agent, I was a certified electronic court reporter and certified legal transcriber for 15 years. As an independent contractor, I provided these services from the comfort of my home office primarily for insurance companies and law firms which allowed me to balance work and family responsibilities. My Notary Public Commission was frequently needed during this time by the people and businesses I was serving. Before venturing into freelance work, I dedicated my skills as a legal secretary and legal assistant to various law firms from 1981 through 1997. Throughout these many years, I maintained my position as a trusted Notary Public recognizing the importance of this official role in the legal profession, and now as a Notary Signing Agent as well.
Personal Bio
I am 61 years old and starting a second career which I am very excited about. I was born and raised in Roswell, NM. I was an honor student throughout elementary and middle school, and I graduated from Roswell High School in 1980 as an Honor Grad with a 4.2 GPA. I worked full-time and attended Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Branch from 1980-1981 in the evenings studying accounting and psychology. Unfortunately, due to family matters, I was unable to graduate and focused all of my energy on the two jobs that I had at the time, one of which was in advertising and the other was working at a jewelry store. In 1981, I was requested to participate in the Miss Roswell Pageant which I knew nothing about until I was approached by the coordinator. I actually won my first pageant and became Miss Roswell which then led me to the state level pageant. There were several events to participate in at the state pageant where contestants could win a trophy. In my first year, I won two trophies and was a runner-up in the pageant. I was requested to run again in 1983 as Miss Chaves County so I decided to accept the invitation. That year, I won three trophies and was second runner-up. In my younger years, I discovered a passion for racquetball and honed my skills by regularly competing against male opponents. This rigorous training prepared me to dominate women's tournaments in my category, consistently emerging victorious. Additionally, I found immense joy in playing co-ed competitive softball, occupying the role of a third baseman. The thrill of the game fueled my enthusiasm. I continued playing at both of these sports until I was about four months pregnant in 1997. My husband Michael and I were married in December 1993, and we were expecting our first child in January 1998. We had a daughter on January 13th and named her Michaela Noel Hinton who was our one and only child who we doted on constantly. Tragically, my beloved husband Michael passed away on May 21, 2022, after a marriage spanning 29 years and a partnership that exceeded 30 years. My husband and I enjoyed fishing mostly in lakes and streams. We would catch and release whenever a fish wasn't injured during the catch. This was our primary source of enjoyment throughout our marriage, and we taught our daughter to fish so well that she became an expert at it. Prior to being married, during my marriage, and continuing has been my passion for watching movies. I've been a movie buff since I was a child and my parents would buy me the Summer Vacation Movie Ticket that would get me into one movie a week during the entire summer school break. I have a girlfriend that I've known since 1990 who lives nearby and we have an ongoing Tuesday night at the movies. When I'm not engrossed in my career or managing household responsibilities, I find solace in the company of my two dogs, two cats, and my 30-year-old Amazon Parrot. These beloved companions bring warmth and joy to my daily life.
