Personal Bio
Winona Cleveland was born in NJ and presently lives in Plainfield, NJ. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from an HBCU College. She has coursework toward her master's in Public Administration from Central Michigan University. Winona's work experience is 8 years of working in corporate America ending with a job at Continental Insurance Company as an Assistant Underwriter. Upon leaving corporate America she moved into the social services industry. Winona worked for 6 years for Leaguers Inc. a Headstart program in Newark, NJ. Upon leaving she gained a New Jersey civil service titled position for the state of New Jersey where she worked in Passaic County for 16 years. Since 2014 she has worked as a Sr. Program Development Specialist for the City of Plainfield, NJ. Winona has given back to the community by sitting on the board of the Union County NJ YWCA and still sits on the board of the Bethlehem Community Development Corporation, and the P&C Veterans Resource Center both located in Essex County, NJ. She also assists non-profit and faith-based organizations in gaining and maintaining their non-profit status. Winona is a dedicated worker and always quietly supports those in need.
