Personal Bio
I have my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. For many years I wanted to become an attorney. But I found love staying as a Paralegal and working for a firm for 11 years. The firm practices Personal Injury mostly. My job title was No-Fault Administrator. The No-Fault administrator duties included but not limited to: Having full knowledge of the rules & regulations for No-Fault procedures in New York & New Jersey
Protecting the clients from unfair medical billing Employment verification, Short term disability through employer, lost wage benefits through No-Fault Being aware of deadlines related to the No-Fault legality in NY/NJ including submission for billing/applications
Proper knowledge of payment fee schedule That is just a little view on the knowledge I have. Now you are probably asking, what does personal injury and No-Fault have to do with NSA - well I am glad you asked. Not only was I the No-Fault administrator of the firm. I also did any/all processes of a personal injury case. In a case where it is a non Motor vehicle accident and lets say its a slip and fall on property - looking up all deeds/conveniences/mortgages is all public record. Not only are you searching for the current/correct deed of the owner of the property, you also have to understand what you are reading too. Seeing copies of the paperwork you would see in a signing package is also the paperwork I have learned to read and understand as my time as a personal injury paralegal. In my history with criminal defense and Matrimonial & Family law firms, besides drafting paperwork, I went to all the courts in the 5 boroughs to file paperwork in the appropriate clerks offices. I have extensive experience on knowing how paperwork should be in order and the patience to travel just to deliver paper to the right person. This is not just a career for me. It's a passion.
