Personal Bio
Maintaining accuracy while working under pressure, on deadline, IS my background.
For almost 20-years, I was a journalist. I started in print at United Press International and wound up as an award-winning correspondent for CNN in Los Angeles. Look closely, and you'll see glimpses of Jennifer Auther in TV specials including the OJ Simpson case, the Menendez brothers' murder trial and the Unabomber capture. I was nominated for a Peabody Award in 1993 for my Rodney King coverage.
In 2001, transitioned to in-house corporate public relations to oversee the merger of global digital music firm. By 2004, I was the West Division PR Specialist for North America's 25th largest transportation engineering, architecture and urban planning firm. I covered AZ, CA, UT, WA, OR, AK and Hawaii on some pretty HUGE projects. I did PR for the SF 49er Stadium REDESIGN, which my firm won.
I moved to Central America in 2014, where I penned my first crime novel, "The Pink Slip Murders," published in 2019 and on Amazon. I'm currently in edit for my second crime novel! In 2016, I moved Metro Atlanta; where I worked in retail sales, before becoming a full-time GA Mobile Notary & Loan Signing Agent outside GA. (Georgia is an Attorney State. I am NOT an attorney).
