My name is Joy Legaux and I am a notary signing agent who is certified and background screened through the National Notary Association. In 2021, I created Les Geaux Notary Services, LLC as a mobile service to provide convenient general notarial services as well as loan signings. My services are especially useful to those individuals who have busy schedules, non-traditional work hours and limited time but still need to handle important personal business matters in the evenings and/or on weekends. I currently have four years of experience working as a Notary Public and am a current member of the National Notary Association and the Louisiana Notary Association. I also am a fully licensed and bonded certified Notary Signing Agent. I am specially trained to guide and assist individuals with signing required documents involved in the loan closing process as well as notarizing specific loan documents. My mission is to help as many people as possible, provide the best customer service, pay special attention to the wants/needs of customers and to ensure services are affordably priced.
Personal Bio
Joy A. Legaux was born and raised in New Orleans, La. and graduated from McDonogh #35 Senior High School. She continued her education at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Gerontology. Joy enjoys helping others and has worked in human services for over twenty years on behalf of children, youth and older adults. In 2020, she decided to expand her services to others and now has a lifetime commission as a Louisiana Civil Law Notary Public with Statewide Jurisdiction.
