My name is Miriam Turgutalp. I am a native Texan born and raised in San Antonio. I'm the fourth of six children so I'm used to being around crowds. I grew up in a latin household that meant homemade food, all kinds of chores and a lot of time spent outdoors. These humble beginnings taught me to work hard, set goals, be adaptable, be resilient, and to always help others. I am married to the most amazing man I know. We met in San Antonio 23 years ago. In our 22 years of marriage, there have been seasons of joy and hardship, but we've supported each other throughout. Raising our twins continues to be the most rewarding challenge and a learning experience. We have lived in three continents including Europe and Asia. Our life has taken us to the most unique places; among people of diverse cultures, languages, and backgrounds that has shaped who we are today. Most importantly, our children have been enriched by our travels and this multi-cultural adventure. Traveling has expanded our world view and connected us to a global community that has made us authentic! I wouldn't have it any other way. I speak fluent Spanish and Turkish. I love to travel, history, learning about different cultures, learning new languages, love to cook and plant. I'm a huge foodie and have an affinity for trying new flavors, cuisines and recipes.
