Prio to becoming a notary in 2017, Pamela Thorsch has over 30 years of experience working for Fortune 500 companies, small start-ups, nonprofits along with experience in the real estate industry. Pamela is known for her ability to forge strategic alliances and advance a creative business approach for her clients to get achieve results. In 2012 she stepped down after ten years as the executive director of Rebuilding Together San Diego. In this role she took a failing nonprofit with $3,000 in the bank and raised over $18 million in funds and in-kind donations. Under her leadership of RTSD she oversaw more than 500 safe at home repairs and major home renovations for low-income homeowners, a number of neighborhood and public space revitalization projects, piloted a graffiti workshop program to evolve at risk youth from vandalism to artistic expression, and the creation of the first conservation garden in San Diego located in Azalea Park. In an effort to keep RTSD afloat during the 2008/2009 housing crisis, Pamela developed a replicable model for the acquisition, renovation and sale of foreclosed homes in partnership with Chase and Wells Fargo Banks. This affordable housing model became a national initiative, keeping the doors open for 24 Rebuilding Together affiliates during that economic downturn. At the end she was responsible for more than $11 million of market value improvement vested into neighborhoods throughout San Diego County. She holds on to the conviction that lasting success is achieved by working together through shared vision and common goals.
