Personal Bio
I started working at 13 and haven’t stopped since. While attending college in Portland, Oregon, I worked for the college president as his assistant, in the finance department as the payroll clerk, and at US Bank. Later, I transferred to Abilene Christian University, balancing full-time work as a retail manager with my studies. After college, I became a realtor, then partnered with my dad to build custom homes across Oregon and Washington. I also worked for SunTrust Bank in Tennessee, further expanding my experience in finance. In 2015, my life took a sharp turn when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Four months later, I was told I likely had only months to live. But I’m a fighter—and I told cancer, “Not today.” My three wonderful children were my cheerleaders, and their love and faith gave me the strength to keep going. Today, I’m cancer-free and deeply grateful for life. My daughter married an Airman and has given me two wonderful grandsons. My two sons are proud U.S. Marines—making this mama’s heart swell with pride. I’m single, living my best life, and my faith in God continues to guide me through each day. I thank my Creator for all I have and all I can share.
